Fridays Flanders Frontier Foray

The tour will start in Dunkirk on Sunday 15th June  with a 50 mile ride along the coast to Bruges.

The planned overnight stops will be as follows:

Riders will need to book their own accommodation; all the cities have plenty of good-value hotel options.

This is a shorter, easier paced and flatter tour than the last few years. The longest touring day will be on Monday with a ride of 100km – 63 miles. This will be followed by an optional, slightly longer unladen day ride on Tuesday from Antwerp – or you could stay in Antwerp.

Each day will commence at 09:00hrs from Fridays Central, in the centre of each town, and we aim to arrive in our destination by 5pm.

Enquiries are being made to identify a venue in Dunkirk to hold a Tour Dinner on Friday 20th June.

It is suggested that Tourists travel to Dunkirk on Saturday 14th either via a direct ferry from Dover (the town centre is about 15km – 8 miles from the ferry terminal), or via Calais followed by a 50km – 30 mile bike ride along the coast.

Participants will need to ensure that they have a suitable insurance policy to cover emergency and medical incidents along with Third Party Insurance which is valid for use in the European Union (France, Belgium and Netherlands).

The maximum number of participants will initially be 'capped' at 30 Tourists. Only those who have completed this form and paid their £50 deposit (to assist with recce and tour costs) will be considered as participants. Once we have 30 this form will be closed and a 'wait list' will be commenced.

The information you provide is treated confidentially and will only be seen by the ride organisers. It is used to help with the planning and running of the ride. Personal information will be deleted once the tour is complete.
